Taste Huntley - Huntley School (Marton)

For 25 years, the food universe of hundreds of small boys centred around Huntley School's catering manager and hands-on cook Anna Williams.  Her dinners were so loved that when the boys went home for the holidays or left school, they missed Mrs Williams' food.

The answer was to document her recipes in a recipe book called Taste Huntley.

In the forward of the book, Anna writes:  "It has been my pleasure to cater for a number of generations of Huntley boys, their parents and school staff.  The cookbook has developed over the last 22 years and contains many of the boys' favourite recipes which will bring back happy memories of meals enjoyed at school.  I am certain that the philosophy of good, healthy eating habits stays with boys for life.  It's a thrill for me to experience a change in eating habits for some boys who had had limited exposure to a variety of foods and vegetables."
